I got the script in late May2014 and was told to make the short film for NCGLFF.
The deadline for entry was June 13, 2014.
We had $150 to feed the cast and crew. We made a huge salad, kasha bars, fruit and some chocolate.
My actors are a healthy bunch.
We cast it in about 2 days then the clock and schedules crumpled. So we adjusted and got the roles nailed down. It was a tough thing to have to recast. It hurt me.
Crew was sparse with this short of notice.
I asked my buddy Nic Beery of Beery Media to help out. He was keen on being DP so I handed the task over to him. I have wanted to see the Canon 5D MarkIII in action. Thanks go to Nic for bringing the camera and finding the location.
Nic was able to get an artist's workshop. A guy with a big heart and big ART!
Let's give Mike some love and click on the link to see what he is creating.
